Trump can't serve in government

Article 2 and the 14th Amendment show just why Congress needs to get active and how the Due Process clause is supposed to work. Trump is a convicted felon awaiting sentencing. He is a traitor favoring Russia over Ukraine. He is inept and incompetent. The constitution is clear as to what Congress has to do. Remove him. In terms of Apprentice, you're fired.Calling congress daily is step one. Protests give outlet to frustration but to date haven't encouraged the faux president to resign. It's time for congress to represent the best interestts of the American people. It is contingent on them to act to get elected.

Idaho is home

My mother screams at me over Idaho so I decided to write something that is a little more nuanced. I'm not interested in living in Colorado. As a matter of fact I hate it. Idaho is my home. My friends are there, my doctor is there. My insulin pump trainer is there, my life is there. You're screaming is part of who you are now and I'm not sure how to deal with it. I'm grateful I have friends like Natalie and Allison who understand. Diane has called during some of your episodes so it's well documented. Lying to me,lying to your doctor about dad and me is not helping you. As a matter of fact your causing a huge problem. So I'm leaving you here. I'm going home. At least there people are nice and not wholly random

Minnesota home

The Colorado Delusion I was born in Colorado, went to school in California and Colorado, worked boring jobs in Colorado them moved to Minnesota for law school. I loved it's beautiful Falls, their amazing winters, their sloppy springs and their hot summers. I loved Minnesotans. All I hear about in Colorado is how cold or how hot it is. Who cares? It's not Minnesota nice or even pretty. The red sand stone and high costs are well geologically interesting I suppose. But I'd much rather live in Minnesota. Then there's Idaho. My beloved job and the Federal Defenders office Minneapolis. They were my supervisors and friends for what I hoped would be a lifetime job. I can't forgive Colorado. Not will I. Minnesota calls. Colorado you suck.

Removal of Sitting President

The current administration is incompetent and dangerous. The Fourteenth Amendment puts the removal of a president for reasons including treason, insurrection, or even lesser offenses including alleging someone has committed a crime.  Problematically that requires a 2/3 majority of states agreeing this is the best option. It's clear Trump has violated state and federal law including charges that were dismissed without prejudice in Arizona, New York and assorted other state charges in election interference and harassment of voters. CITE Letting Congress know there's a problem is voters job. I'm imagining Lindsey Graham of South Carolina getting a call from a constituent that says,"I'm a rape survivor and why are you allowing a rapist to be in the office of president? Have you no common decency sir?" From the McCathy hearings. https://www.senate.gov/about/powers-procedures/investigations/mccarthy-and-army-mccarthy-hearings.html Allegations were made by Republican...

The constitution and Presidential Ineptitude

Image
The January 6th insurrection, riot or revolt was full sanctioned by then President Trump. People died and were murdered in the riot that ensued. Yes the participants had a choice and they exercised the same choice. That is irrelevant. It fact it violates the entire constitution. Starting at Article 2 section 3 which prohibits absolutely any traitorous or high crime ( felony ) or misdemeanor act by any member of the US government.or they shouldn't be in government at all.  The terms high crimes and misdemeanors influence companies like the federal government and private companies like Walmart in their hiring practices.  As a long time public defender and prosecutor, these are daily terms that affect Joe.Average American. They should apply to the President of the Republic as well and do.   The executive branch under Article 1 has no special exclusions from prosecution.Further the US code has no exclusion for the executive and legislative branch having immunity from pro...
